Born in Pakistan, at the age of 15 I moved to the United States. Fluent in English and Urdu. I attended the University of Illinois where I double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology. During undergraduate I finished my certification as a Domestic Violence Advocate and worked with victims of domestic violence.

After finishing college, I counseled at risk pregnant teens. I then attended law school at Northern Illinois University, where I obtained my law degree. During Law School, I worked at Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic where I represented the victims of domestic violence and assisted them in getting order of protections. I also interned at the State’s Attorney’s office.​ After joining Strong Law Offices in 2012, I continued to be a dedicated and committed advocate for the rights of the working class and the injured.
